Legacy records and documentation

About Trustmoor

Careful work, done respectfully

We started Trustmoor because families deserve a clear, unhurried way to put their records in order. Good documentation is a form of consideration — for those who come after, and for those who leave things behind.

How Trustmoor Came Together

Trustmoor was set up in Bangkok in 2018 by a small group of people who had each spent time working alongside families navigating inheritance matters. What they noticed, again and again, was that the paperwork side of things — sorting out which documents existed, where they were kept, and what they referred to — often fell to whichever family member had the most patience and the most time.

There was rarely anyone whose specific role was to help with that part. Solicitors handled legal questions. Accountants handled numbers. But the work of locating, labelling, and filing the records themselves often happened in someone's spare bedroom, with no particular guidance.

The Trustmoor team wanted to fill that space — not by giving advice, but by providing the right information, the right tools, and, for organisations, the right archiving structures. The result is a set of three services that are deliberately narrow in scope and deliberately clear in what they include and what they do not.

We are based on Sukhumvit Road and work with families across Bangkok and the surrounding area. Our working language is English, and we draw on familiarity with the kinds of documents that matter in a Thai administrative context.

Our Mission

To make legacy documentation straightforward — not simplified to the point of being useless, but presented clearly enough that families can act on it without confusion. We hold ourselves to a quiet, consistent standard: that each piece of work we hand over should make the next step easier for the people who receive it.

Our Values

  • Restraint — We do not offer more than we should. Our scope is clear and we stay within it.
  • Clarity — Every document, session, and toolkit uses plain language that does not require a background in law or finance.
  • Discretion — Family records are handled carefully. We do not retain or share client materials beyond the agreed scope.
  • Steadiness — We work at a pace that allows for checking, revision, and confidence — not speed for its own sake.

How We Work

The standards we hold ourselves to in every engagement — whether a two-hour session or a multi-month archive project.

Scope Agreed in Writing

Before any work begins, the scope of the engagement is set out clearly in writing. This means both parties know what is and is not included — with no surprises at the end.

Strict Confidentiality

All materials shared with Trustmoor — document lists, family records, archive inventories — are treated with complete confidentiality. We do not retain copies beyond the agreed delivery period.

Reviewed Before Delivery

All toolkits and archive deliverables are reviewed internally before being shared with clients. Sessions are prepared from a structured script that is checked for accuracy against current official sources.

No Advice — Only Information

We are clear at every stage that our services are informational and organisational. We do not offer personal legal or financial advice, and we say so consistently in our materials.

Content Kept Current

Session materials and toolkit references are reviewed on a rolling basis. Where official guidance changes, we update our resources so that the information given to clients is up to date.

Follow-Up Available

After a session or toolkit delivery, clients may contact us with clarifying questions about the information covered. We respond within one working day and are happy to revisit any point in plain terms.

Legacy Records Work in a Bangkok Context

Inheritance documentation in Thailand involves a number of administrative steps that families often approach with little preparation. Identifying which papers exist, understanding what each refers to, and putting them into a logical, accessible order takes both time and a degree of familiarity with the process.

Trustmoor's work does not replace the role of a solicitor or a tax adviser. It sits alongside those professional relationships — handling the organisational and informational layer that those professionals rarely have time for. When families arrive at an appointment with their records already sorted and labelled, things tend to move more smoothly.

Bangkok has a well-established network of family offices and wealth management structures, many of which maintain significant volumes of documents. The Family Office Archive Support service is designed with those organisations in mind: not as a one-time filing exercise, but as a considered approach to keeping records searchable, well-labelled, and ready to be passed on.

Everything Trustmoor produces is written in English and is intended to be read without specialist knowledge. Where Thai-language documentation is referenced, we note it clearly and explain what role it serves in the broader context of an estate or family archive.
